Since joining in 2008, Paul has built FilmNova from a small and largely non-broadcast production company to its position today as the leading athletics producer in the UK.
Previously, Paul had a 10 year career as a Producer at BBC Sport.
Phil is responsible for all programme delivery and liaison with our broadcast and corporate partners. He also likes to keep his hand in Studio directing from time to time.
Phil has previously worked at IMG, BBC Sport and Sunset + Vine.
Alison has managed productions as wide ranging as Boxing, Football, Tennis and of course Athletics. She has overseen FilmNova projects as diverse as the Host Broadcast operation for the European Team Championships and a cinema release documentary on ‘Football Manager’.
Alison’s former companies include Input Media and SBS Australia.
Matthew is the leading director of Athletics road racing in the UK, if not world. He also won the IOC Golden Rings Bronze Award for his Host coverage of the Rowing and Canoe/Kayak at London 2012.

Lucy is an award winning documentary and features producer who takes the creative lead on all FilmNova projects as well as programme editing our biggest productions.
Lucy is another former BBC Sport employee
Joe is our newest recruit and edits content for all platforms as well as managing our edit suite facilities.
Joe joined us in 2016.
Vairi Smith is the Business Development Manager for FilmNova Scotland. Based in our offices at Pacific Quay, Vairi is focussed on growing the FilmNova Scotland production slate, seeking out opportunities in Broadcast, Corporate and Digital work. Vairi has over 8 years experience in negotiation broadcast agreements across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe. She also led in securing six-figure commercial sponsorship deals for broadcast and media partnerships. Vairi performs a similar development role with sister business The Great Run Company.
