vindolanda - the eagle's eye
Hadrian’s Wall was built by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago. Today part of this World Heritage site has been brought back to life with The Eagle’s Eye.

This filmNova programme used a state of the art helicopter camera system to record unique views travelling along the wall as it stands today. We then turned back the clock and worked closely with archaeologists using computer-generated imagery to recreate part of the wall, forts and milecastles.
